研究開発の現場に、AIはどう応える？
AIの業務活用を検討するにあたっては、多くの課題や悩みに直面している方も多いのではないでしょうか。Acrobat Tech Talkはそうした課題解決のヒントを得る場として、情報交換や実践的なアドバイス、アイデア共有を目的に定期的に開催しています。今回はその特別編として、医薬品・化学・素材などの研究開発に携わる皆さまにフォーカスしてお届けします。
医薬品一つの誕生には、10年・1000億円ともいわれる研究開発プロセスが存在します。その中でも特に難しいとされる初期フェーズ――標的探索、化合物設計、薬物動態の最適化――を、産学連携のAIで変えようとしているのが、国立研究開発法人AMEDが主導するプロジェクト「DAIIA」です。
製薬企業17社・アカデミアが参画し、産学が保有する研究開発データを集約して構築した創薬AIプラットフォーム「DAIIA」は、さらなる創薬プロセスの効率化と創薬ターゲットの枯渇問題の克服を目指して、今まさに次世代構想「DAIIA-X」へと進化しようとしています。
本イベントでは、AMEDが開発する創薬AIプラットフォームのほか、AIを活用した研究課題の現状等、創薬AIの最前線をAMED創薬事業部長・日下部哲也氏にご講演いただきます。
あわせて、アドビからは研究開発の現場で研究者が日々向き合う膨大な文献・報告書・社内資料の整理や活用において、AIがどう貢献できるかについても、実践的な視点からご紹介します。
業界全体の創薬プロセスの変革と、研究者一人ひとりの知的生産性の向上。その両輪から、研究開発DXの現在地を考える場です。
セッション終了後は、軽食やお飲み物をご用意したリラックスした雰囲気の中で、登壇者や他企業の担当者との交流をお楽しみいただけます。カジュアルな場でリアルな業務課題や悩みを共有できる、貴重なネットワーキングの機会です。
