MIDチームでは、プロダクト製品に向けた表面の質感表現のことを「サーフェスデザイン」と呼称しています。
今回の講演では、学生向けワークショップ「Material Shooting!」を題材に、サーフェスデザイン分野でのSubstanceを活用したデジタルプロトタイピングについてご紹介します。
学生が実際の工業製品を題材に、観察・分析を通じて得た洞察をもとに収集した身の回りの質感を再構成し提案したサーフェスデザインをSubstanceと3Dプリンタを使って可視化するまでのプロセスをお楽しみください。
