Join Adobe at Legalweek March 9-12

Date TBD

At LegalWeek, Adobe is convening legal leaders to examine what must change in Knowledge Management before AI can be trusted at scale. AI is now embedded in legal research, contract review, and knowledge retrieval. Expectations are rising. Volume is increasing. Legal teams remain accountable for accuracy, privilege, and defensibility.

The question is no longer whether AI can generate answers. It is whether those answers are defensible. When legal content is not structured, governed, and current, AI does not reduce risk. It amplifies it.

Join us for a panel discussion: Knowledge Management in the AI Era: What Still Matters for Legal Teams. Hear how legal leaders are scaling AI responsibly without compromising trust, governance, or defensibility.

This discussion will explore:

  • Where AI is delivering meaningful value in legal workflows
  • Where human expertise must remain central
  • What makes legal content truly AI ready
  • How governance, metadata, and content standards impact defensibility
  • How Legal, IT, and Security can align before scaling AI

Knowledge Management in the AI Era: What Still Matters for Legal Teams?

Knowledge Management in the AI Era: What Still Matters for Legal Teams?

Session Description:

As GenAI transforms how information is captured, summarized, and retrieved, the core mission of Knowledge Management is shifting from document storage to context, governance, and strategic enablement. This session explores what KM teams must prioritize now—taxonomy design, feedback loops, data quality, and cross-functional alignment—to ensure AI systems produce accurate, trustworthy, and business-ready outputs.

Discussion topics include:

  • What GenAI can and can’t replace in traditional KM programs
  • How to design taxonomies, metadata, and governance frameworks that improve AI accuracy
  • Building high-quality “source of truth” repositories that power reliable prompts
  • Creating human-in-the-loop review models that ensure quality, security and ethical use
  • Aligning KM, legal ops, IT and practice groups around shared GenAI objectives

Session Information

Knowledge Management in the AI Era: What Still Matters for Legal Teams

Session Description:

As AI becomes embedded across legal research, document review, and knowledge retrieval, legal teams face a critical shift: success is no longer defined by how much information you store, but by how confidently you can rely on it.

Knowledge Management now serves as the backbone of defensible, compliant, and decision-ready legal work. The way legal content and documents are structured, governed, and maintained directly determines whether AI outputs are accurate, contextual, and grounded in trusted source materials.

This session explores how modern legal KM leaders are evolving beyond document management to focus on governance, content integrity, and human oversight, ensuring AI enhances legal judgment rather than undermining it.

Discussion topics include:

  • Where AI adds value in legal knowledge workflows—and where human expertise remains essential
  • How to design taxonomies, metadata, and governance frameworks that improve AI reliability and legal accuracy
  • Building trusted sources of truth for contracts, policies, case law, and internal legal guidance
  • Creating human-in-the-loop review models that support privilege, compliance, and ethical use of AI
  • Aligning Knowledge Management, Legal Operations, IT, and Security to scale AI responsibly across the legal function
